Requirements for Portugal Digital Nomad Visa

You must meet these requirements to be eligible for the Portugal Digital Nomad Visa then you can apply. Find out specifically.

You must show proof of a remote job. If you work for a company remotely, you will need to show proof. The company should be based out of Portugal.
If you are a freelancer, YouTuber or earn online, you need to show proof.
You will be eligible if you earn at least €2,800 a month.
You will only pay 15% tax for the first four years.

Income Requirement for Portugal Digital Nomad Visa

To apply for a Portugal Digital Nomad visa you need to show your salary or monthly income that you have been earning at least €2,800 per month for the three months prior to your application. Then you can apply for Digital Nomad Visa. If the salary does not earn €2800 then the application will not be successful.

Portugal Digital Nomad Visa Tax Requirements

You will only be charged a 15% tax rate for the first four years of your stay, as opposed to the standard Portuguese 25%.

The initial application fee is €180 and a further €320 for your residence permit (embassy fees) once you arrive in Portugal.
