It has not been affirmed whether a twister has landed, but there are various reports of trees and wires down.

At a certain point, National Grid said there were 11,000 clients in Rhode Island without power. As of 10:41 p.m., 1,900 clients stayed without power.

In Cranston, our 12 News team tracked down fallen trees and broken windows at a home on Elmwood Avenue.

I hear boisterous breeze coming around. I get up and my entire house begins shaking, Sheila Strobel said.

It was an encounter that Shiela Strobel and Ashley Sullivan said they couldnt clarify.

The entire house you could hear it, it was shaking. My girls window crushed. Its insane, it sort of terrified us all, Ashley Sullivan said.

Two roads away, Sal Brogno returned home from a family party to an unwanted amazement. His boat was blow on its side the center of the road.

What am I going to do. How could I be going to get it back up, Brogno said.

Neighbor Michael Yottaw depicted the alarming minutes paving the way to the boat being thrown from the yard.

The downpour began descending genuine weighty, saw the blazing of lightning, then, at that point, the power expanded, he said. It appeared as though it planned to get airborne and go through my yard so I hurried to my storm cellar.

The National Weather Service says it will direct a tempest overview in Rhode Island on Sunday. Examiners will be checking out harm in Providence, Washington, and Kent regions.
