Atlantic Immigration Program 2022 - New Designated Employers in Newfoundland and Labrador

Atlantic Immigration Program 2022 - New Designated Employers in Newfoundland and Labrador

The Atlantic Immigration Program AIP is an easy path for foreign workers to obtain Canadian permanent residence.  Designated employers in the 4 Atlantic provinces such as Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island can hire foreign workers without the need for a LMIA (Labor Market Impact Assessment) under this new Atlantic immigration program.

The old AIPP (Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program) was discontinued on December 31, 2021.  Since this was a pilot program.  Because of the success of that AIPP, Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) announced that AIP is now a permanent program in the Canadian immigration system.
