NEW LIST OF NOMINATED EMPLOYERS IN NOVA SCOTIA, CANADA FOR ATLANTIC IMMIGRATION PROGRAM 2022
Finally the wait is over. The Province of Nova Scotia, Canada has officially announced the list of designated employers for the Atlantic Immigration Program 2022.
The Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP) is a permanent version of the older Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program AIPP. AIP now serves the 4 Atlantic provinces of Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. Designated employers in these four provinces can hire skilled workers and international graduates under the Atlantic Immigration Program to address labor shortages.

This is an employer driven program, meaning the initial application for your immigration process must be submitted to your employer who is offering the job. But not every employer can offer jobs under the Atlantic Immigration Program AIP.
To hire any foreign workers, employers must be designated by the province in which they are located. We have already seen the list of designated employers published by Newfoundland and Labrador.
Now that the Province of Nova Scotia has finally announced the list of designated employers, these employers are registered with Nova Scotia Provincial Immigration to hire foreign workers under the AIP.

If any employer approves the applicant's location, the applicant can apply directly to Canadian federal Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada for Canadian permanent resident PR.

While the applicant's PR application is being processed, which takes approximately 18 months, the applicant can ask Nova Scotia Provincial Immigration for a temporary work permit. which allows applicants and their families to come to Canada and begin their employment.
